Nigerians working with a Chinese company located near the long bridge on Lagos/Ibadan expressway are said to be going through hell and they must not complain if they must be in the good book of the management.
A cleric, who is privy to the horrendous and fiendish maltreatment being meted out to them, told EDO VOICE that any worker, who complains about the dehumanization going on in the company, would incur the wrath of the management.
According to him, owing to the heavy machinery used by the casual workers, most of them sustain serious injuries, including loss of fingers.
He alleged that some ‘querulous’ workers were in the past fed into machines and ground into bits and their remains packed into bags and thrown over the fence. Thereafter, he said, the affected worker(s) would be declared missing via a newspaper advert in a bid to cover up the evil.
Besides, the concerned Nigerian further alleged that when workers are injured, they bear the cost of their treatment alone as they are often told that it is normal for factory workers to be injured while on duty and that there is nothing special about it.
“Although there is no unassailable evidence to nail the company, I am giving you this information so that desperate Nigerian job seekers will not go and waste their lives there in the name of working”, he further told EDO VOICE.
He continued: “Desperate Nigerian job seekers should not go and work in this evil company. After all, what they are paying is nothing to write home about. Besides, most people who go there and work normally leave the company with some of their fingers chopped off.
